The corvette may ram you, opening it up like a tin can.(or you).As the corvette sweeps its arc to come around again, you let it drift/curve out 300m (arming distance) and then fire as it lines up (in a T config). Dissagree RD3 - The tactic here would be to continue pinging and call in another destroyer who can continue the depth charging.the corvette is marking and holding for re-inforcements.Normally i would suggest an attack.draw him to you, angle your bow to intersect the corvettes path.you time its speed to you and hit full power (knowing you are definately busted).the corvette sweeps over you.you at full knots try to distance yourself perpendicular to the corvette (the corvette would be having big probs depth charging at 40 m anyway, little time to get out of the way.) as you pass the corvette you also raise the periscope (should be at periscope depth) - And cut all engines and go into silent mode if you havent alerady.
